For the first time since my parents bought their boat, we went boating on a weekend that wasn't a holiday. It was a great time, and the lake wasn't busy at all.

The water was also a lot lower, so we found a great beach! So great in fact, that other people kind of took over parts of our beach. Fortunately, we spread out our stuff enough, that it wasn't too crowded. All the kids loved digging in the sand!

Marlayna and Dave came up from Cedar City to join us for the day. It was so great to have them there! We just don't get to see them very often. We had lots of fun with them, even though Marlayna wouldn't let me take a decent picture of her.

These two little girls loved hanging out with their grandma in the front of the boat. And they are so adorable too.

Spencer also loved being in the front of the boat. He stood there most of the time, just letting the wind blow in his face. He is so stinkin' cute! It almost made the fact that he had to wear the life jacket ok. He really doesn't like the head thing. But we really like him being safe, so too bad for him.

We had quite the battle tube adventure going on. It is always entertaining to watch people try to throw the other ones off the tube! And we actually got some water skiing in. Scot got to ski, since Dave was there to drive the boat. I skied for a few minutes, but boy was a sore later. I could barely move the next day! We tried to get Emma up, and she was so close, but then she gave up. We'll have to keep trying.
We had a great time, and it was so fun to get out on an off day!
