Celebrating our Pioneer Heritage...kind of.

The 24th of July just didn't seem as festive this year. Scot had to fly to Texas, and Emma got back from Disneyland that afternoon. So I spent most of the day doing laundry. Fortunately, my in laws decided to do something fun. They decided to have a little water party for the kids. Cleadus and Lisa have a great backyard for it, and the kids loved it. Cleadus and Lisa even broke out the snow cone maker. Always a big hit.

We had a little pool, and a lot of kids in the pool.

We even had a slip and slide, and the perfect hill to use it on.

Spencer even gave it a try.
But he liked walking around the outside of the little pool and playing in the water much better.
It was a fun time to spend with family. While the kids played the adults chatted. We also had a BBQ. What 24th would be complete with out a BBQ?! It was a great evening. Thanks for hosting Cleadus and Lisa.
