Dying Easter Eggs has always been a fun tradition at our house. The kids love it! Scot really gets into it too.

We had about a dozen eggs per kid to dye, and they still asked for more. It is crazy how fast they go through them.

Ben and Emma could really do things all on their own so it was nice not to have to worry about watching them every second. They loved drawing on the eggs with crayon, and seeing how the designs turned out after they were dyed.

Lucy on the other hand was a handfull! She wanted to color on the eggs like her siblings, but she kept squeezing the eggs or dropping them. We ended up with a lot of cracked eggs.

Spencer was very excited to see the eggs. ( I am pretty sure he thought they were balls.) He was happy when Scot let him try to draw on one. But the second I gave him one and tried to make him put it into the dye (instead of throwing it) he was no longer happy. Guess eggs aren't as fun as balls.
