Celebrating with Family

So Lucy and Spencer's birthdays are only 19 days apart, and since things have been so crazy(and the fact that we were gone for Spencer's birthday), we decided to celebrate their birthdays together. We invited over all the family and had so many of them come. We appreciate so much how much love and support we feel from our family. And our kids always love having the family come. Spencer LOVES Mickey Mouse so we decided to do Mickey and Minnie cakes. They didn't turn out quite how I had in mind, but the kids liked them.

Scot was not a big fan of the black frosting. He banned me from ever using it again. He said it made too big a mess. But I cannot quarantee that it won't be used again. Sometimes things have to be black.

Spencer loved this ball. It sings and talks and counts. He plays with it all the time.

Lucy had such a great time opening her presents and she has started posing for the camera. She is so silly. She loved all her presents. Everyone knew her well. It was all about pretty dresses, princesses, and pink.

Spencer loves his new "bike". He is a little possesive of it when anyone comes near it.Spencer also got a ball popper. He calls it his vacumn. This was him helping daddy vacumn up after the party. Now anytime the vacumn comes out, so does the ball popper. It is really cute.
