Christmas Part II

Ok. Since it is February, I should probably finish my last Christmas post. For such a lame month, January sure has been busy. But here are the rest of the Christmas highlights.
After our morning festivities at home, we headed to Scot parent's house. All the kids were so excited to see each other, and the prospect of more presents. It was great to be together with everyone as well. And as always we all got great gifts, and it is so fun to see everyone's great ideas.
I made these hooded towels for all my neices and nephews. They turned out really cute.

We all got new Utah stuff. Ben, Scot and Spencer all got hats. They were really excited.

Lucy has two girl cousins that are just a few months away from her in age and they all got a chest of princess dress ups. Lucy was very excited. Scot was also thrilled with his new sno cone maker, and I am very excited about the great family home evening kit, and sticker maker my sister in law gave me.

After spending most of the day at Scot's parents, we heades over to my parents. Usually only my sisters and parents are there when we go because everyone comes over in the morning. But we were surprised that two of my brothers families were there as well. That made the kids even more excited. (I think they had enough excitement in one day.)

We got to open our presents from my parents. As usual, my parents spoiled us. Scot got a great tool bench, and I got a new desk for storage and crafting.
But, as in all parts of Christmas, my favorite part was watching my kids open their presents.

Spencer was so funny. He really, really wanted to open one present. And then after that he didn't want to open anymore. So we kind of had to coax him into opening the rest of his presents. Once they were open, he was so excited about the things inside, but he was so funny about it.

Probably the cutest thing was to see Lucy open her new doll house. She has been asking for one for months. But I kept telling her that she couldn't have it because we didn't have room. So if she wanted one for her birthday, she could decide on 100 toys to get rid of, and then she could have it. Well, she decided to ask Grandma for it. Grandmas always deliver. I did make her get rid of the old Barbie castle that we had though. And we just had to make room. She absolutely loves it. And it is great because all the other kids love to play with it with her sometimes. So our little social lite loves it even more because then she has buddies to play with.

It was a fantastic Christmas. We love spending the time with family and being together. And we love so much how much our kids love to be with their cousins. And a big thank you to both of our parents for making it such a great holiday!
