Another crazy, fun day...

Day 2: We got really lucky. Just as we were walking by they were starting the changing of the horse guards. It was really cool, and what a great setting. The horse guards ride down the street from Buckingham palace. It was a great start to the day. After that we headed towards Buckingham palace, through St. James park. Ben loved chasing all the pigeons. I love how the daffodils just grow right out of the grass.
The kids weren't that excited about Buckingham palace. But hey at least we saw it.
Next we headed to the Transport Museum. It was awesome! There were so many interactive displays and actual trains and buses that you could get on. We all loved it. And we learned a lot.
Dressing up as bus drivers and train conductors.

Even Spencer got to play. He loved driving this taxi.
After that we headed off for a river cruise. Even though we saw a lot of the same things we saw on the bus tour, it was a different perspective. And it is a great way to do things with kids, becuase they just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Riding the boat. We had such great weather. It was cloudy, but no rain.

Our Ben, with Big Ben and his new puppy that he named "Barkingham". He wanted it to be like Buckingham palace. What a clever boy.

Had to get a picture where you can see three phone booths at once.

After we got off the boat, we headed over to Westminster Abby. We opted not to go in, since our kids were pretty much done with the day. So we headed back to Woking, once again.
