Some of our Easter Fun

We did a lot of fun things to celebrate Easter... so many I will have to do this in two parts. First on Saturday we dyed eggs. The day ended up being crazier than expected, so we didn't have a lot of time, but the kids had fun. Lucy got mad every time we took the eggs away from her to pu them in the dye. She just wanted to hold them. So we let her hold one, and she crushed it. That ended that.
Emma is such a poser, and she had to dye as many eggs at a time that we would let her. She left a red one in so long that it actually was red (about 15 minutes) and she kept calling it her blood red egg.
Ben had a great time dying the eggs.
Easter morning, my cute kids put on their new Easter outfits. (Thanks Grandma Pam) Then they had their Easter egg hunt. Lucy loved it, but she kept hitting her eggs together, cracking them. And again she was mad when we took them away from her. They were so excited that the Easter Bunny came and brought them treats and presents, but I think the egg hunt was their favorite.
Lucy ate a jelly bean. At first I thought she was going to choke, but then she started chewing it, and she made this face. I thought she be a little happier eating candy.
After church it was off to visit the grandparents. First stop was Grandma Cham and Papa Woody. They had a fun egg & candy hunt for the kids. They loved it. Then they played the Wii for awhile. They particularly like fishing. Next it was dinner with Grandma Pam and Grandpa Norm. We had a great BBQ meal, and fun time as a family. It was so fun to have Marlayna visiting from school.

Your kids looked really cute on Sunday. They came over before Sacrament Meeting and told Halle & I all about the fun prizes the Easter Bunny had left. Emma's dress was SO cute. Looks like you guys had a fun holiday.

Beautiful children! You are brave to let them color their own eggs. That dye is dangerous. ;)

Yeah...eggs went about the same for Jonah. Cute kids, and I love the "posing".
