Didn't we do this already?!

We decided to take a second trip to Disneyland this summer. My parents have a girl from Germany living with them so we thought she would like to go to Disneyland. Scot wasn't able to go, so we crammed 8 of us (four of them small children) into my mom's car for the adventure. The kids were exeptional in the car! Way to go guys.
They were definently tight quarters. I couldn't even get all three of the kids in the back seat in the picture.
My kids decided that it was very cool to wear mickey ears. I have been trying to convince Emma and Ben of that since I bought them their ears several years ago. But it took the convincing of my sisters. They wore their ears on our last trip, and so on this trip they wanted to wear theirs too. Lucy didn't have ears yet, so she picked out these pink minnie ears. They are very Lucy! She loved them.
THis picture is just too cute! She was sitting with me waiting for the others to go on a ride. She was reviewing her map. It was just so adorable! And the ears are so cute too. The first day she had them, she fell asleep in the stroller. When she woke up she was really upset because we had taken her ears off. That was more important to her than the fact she had missed lunch.
Since we had Beatrice with us we did some things we haven't done in years. She wanted to do it all, so we really did. We pretty much saw every show, and rode every ride. But we had an awesome time. This is our canoe ride experience. It is so fun. I don't know why we don't do it more. The kids had to wear life jackets, and there was a sign that there were adult life jackets available, so my dad decided to be funny and get one. The worker looked at him really funny, but it was hilarious. We were worried that Lucy would drop her paddle in the water, but she did great! It was actually Emma who dropped her paddle when we were almost back. It was pretty funny.
The kids were thrilled that we got to see some of their favorite characters. All Ben wanted was to see Pluto. We kept waiting in line, just to be the next ones to go when Pluto had to leave. Or we would walk up right as he had to go. Finally he was sucessful in meeting him and he was a very happy boy. We even waited in the line at Pixie Hollow so Emma could meet Tinkerbell. We are such suckers!
All in all it was a pretty great trip. The kids, once again, had the time of their lives. I have to admit that I had a lot of fun too! But watching my kids was the very best part. Unfortunately now my kids think they should get to go every month.
